Memorial Brochures for Pets
"Until one has deeply loved an animal, a part of the soul remains unawakened." Anatole France
I give you this one thought to keep:
I am with you still, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone
I am with you still,
In each new dawn

Love affairs have existed between humans and their animal companions literally since time began.
We bring them into our homes, feed them, groom them, train them, get veterinary care when needed, and sometimes clothe them. We play with them and teach them tricks and pet them and take them places with us, even sleep with them. We shower them with love, and they return that love tenfold. Animal companions become an enormous part of our lives, and many times, the love we hold for them is as deep and strong, if not more so, than that we hold for humans.
Yet, when our beloved animals pass on, we don’t typically have the outlets to mourn them the same as we do for humans. We don't have funerals or wakes or gatherings where we pay tribute and our last respects. How, then, do we make the grieving process easier?
When my beloved dog Sergeant Pepper passed over the Rainbow Bridge, I made a memorial brochure for him as a way to grieve, honor him, and remember his unique personality. I’ve since made one for each of my pets as they leave this life, and it’s helped me tremendously to heal. I find the ritual of writing everything I remember about my pet and gathering pictures together very comforting. My family has always made a time to honor and remember our pets, and we like to read the memorial brochure as a eulogy.
It is my pleasure to offer you your choice of templates and printing supplies to assist you in creating a lasting memorial for your beloved pet, a beautiful brochure you can read and enjoy for years to come. I also offer my services in creating the brochure for you.
I invite you to browse this website for further information, and please feel free to contact me at the e-mail address or phone number below.
Wishing you and your animal companions much love, vibrant health, and abundant joy in your lives together!
With love and respect for the animals,
Debbie Watson
